Client Information On your first appointment at Taupō Muscle Therapy, I will ask you some questions about your current lifestyle and your goals for the massage.
Firstly, I need to ensure there aren't any conditions present that rule out having a massage due to health risks. Secondly, I need to know what your needs are to ensure I meet your expectations and goals for the session. Thirdly, the information you provide helps me determine what techniques to use and how to structure your session.
Privacy & Comfort I will leave the room to provide privacy while you undress. You should take off only as much clothing as you are comfortable removing. Some people want to leave on all their clothes, while others are the opposite - but I need something to tuck my towels into so please keep your underwear on! I work within your comfort level - I would rather you relax so you get the most out of your massage.
Feedback Please feel free to provide feedback during the session, and if something doesn't feel right or comfortable, please let me know immediately.
After your massage is finished, you will again be provided with privacy while you get dressed.
We require a 24-hour notice for cancellation of any scheduled appointment. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, or if you do not show up for your appointment, you will be charged a fee of 50% of the massage cost. If you need to reschedule your appointment, please give us at least 24 hours notice. If you arrive late to your appointment, your session will be shortened in order to stay on schedule for other clients. If you are sick or experiencing symptoms of illness, please reschedule your appointment.
We understand that life can be unpredictable and emergencies do happen. In the event of an emergency or extenuating circumstance, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you.
